Home care services operate to support patients — members of the Association — in their daily activities, personal hygiene, and everyday responsibilities.
Depending on the needs of each patient, the home caregiver undertakes tasks both inside the home (general cleaning, ironing clothes, personal care, etc.) and outside the home (such as collecting medication, paying bills, shopping, etc.), which the patient is unable to carry out independently. Support is also provided in anything that contributes to improving the quality of life of the patients receiving care.
The aim is to create a supportive living environment that enhances patients’ quality of life by providing independence and autonomy, while also encouraging the integration of informal caregivers into the labour market.
The home caregiver holds certified caregiver training qualifications.
